There are Infinite Timelines

Given Brahman is eternal and is the only pure presence that exists (since it is existence itself), it only makes sense that what we perceive such as time, space and causation (i.e. linearity) is an illusion and not really real since there is only the present moment.  This means whatever that is "happening", such as the movement of duality, cannot violate the fact of there only being the present moment, i.e. NOW.  Even though the illusion appears to be running linearly, it needs to be functioning in such a way that it doesn't contradict or go against this fundamental truth since that would be impossible.  So how is it that we experience linearity if there is only the NOW moment? Well most introduce the concept of Maya to explain why the illusion appears.  But the concept of Maya doesn't necessarily explain how reality operates to give the effect of it being an illusion. Most students who study Vedanta will just conceptually believe that everything we see is an illusion and nothing more. They will not stop to think it through as to how the illusion is able to function in such a way that doesn't violate the fact of there only being the present moment.  While analogies such as a dreamer who dreams the illusion of time and space (while still remaining the dreamer), can give a sense of how reality is able to operate in a illusory fashion, we can also add something much more conceptually grounding that satisfies the truth of there only being a NOW. This is something so radical that this knowledge itself is enough for one to cultivate extreme detachment since all experiences and bodies that are experienced are truly false (like cartoon images).

The only way for consciousness to seemingly experience a world of time, space and causation IS IF all realities that can be conceived of via its own false imagination ALREADY EXISTSThis means every single moment that is conceptually possible (i.e. what has happened and will ever happen) already exists and all of them exist simultaneously (all at once) in this present moment (since the present moment is all there really is).  Since each and every moment (i.e. snapshot) is distinct from one another, it allows consciousness to shift through each moment which forces the illusion of time as it flows through them (all of which can only happen in the present moment).  Note: One may ask: "How is this even possible?" The answer is: It isn't even happening.  It only appears to be happening.  It is a trick which is why we refer to it this error as Maya

The concept of infinite timelines can be introduced to explain how this phenomena really works.  Consciousness is intimately observing many different versions of ourselves (imaginary snapshots of almost identical figures of who we perceive ourselves to be) which continuously branches off into different versions (which goes on for infinity). This forces the illusion of time and space to appear even though there is nothing spatial about reality. At first, you may interpret this as there being a YOU (consciousness) that is aware of a physical body; and that this awareness is constantly shifting from one snapshot to the next, which contain different versions of "almost" the same physical body/mind.  However, this is still an elementary way of viewing this.  In truth, consciousness is observing infinity all at once, and it is the power of Shakti (i.e. Maya), that drives the hidden imaginary force of allowing consciousness to become aware of different now moments - this is the illusion.  The shifting of one moment to the next allows consciousness to erroneously perceive time as if it is something real. Because consciousness becomes localized and immersed in a singular identity (ego) governed by universal laws within the dream, it can now hold on to an identity that appears to be different than itself.  The entire experience of you having karma and going through reincarnation is consciousness being aware of different now moments that make up the entire timeline of your individuality. So while all of this looks like a physical process [from beginning to end], it is nothing more than a bunch of now moments put together, each of which is a false appearance.

While all this is happening, consciousness doesn't know the other infinite perspectives it holds, though it actually experiences all perspectives at onceIt is only an illusion (driven by the forces of Shakti/Maya) that it experiences them in separate moments because the forces keeps consciousness immersed in a distinct identity (made up of different shapshots of a virtually identical person) that is unique from its other infinite perspectives. The laws of karma and reincarnation still hold during this unfoldment which are part of the intelligence encoded in these hidden forces.  This keeps the dream running in cosmic order without it plunging into eternal chaos.  Because the timelines and snapshots of each moment is different, and there are infinite snapshots already experienced by consciousness (all at once), the illusory forces allows consciousness to witness them distinctly, forcing the illusion of linearity without violating its own eternal and present self - since it would be impossible to operate in any other way.

As you may know, the entire universe is made up of vibration and frequencies.  This is the result of shakti which allows the illumination of consciousness to vibrate an entire story that is imagined and expressed in many different ways. This is like a movie projector rolling film (each containing all pre-existing and unique film strips of still images) that allows a story to unfold in linear motion as each film strip is exposed. Each film strip is already present (i.e. conceived of) and the unfolding of each creates the illusion of causality.  Similarly, the movement and vibration of shakti allows consciousness to transition its attention through each different moment that it is already conscious of, since there is never a moment of not being aware of something.  Because this attention seemingly shifts, it causes the illusion of time to appear which is superimposed on its already eternal and detached presence.

Given shakti is the power and energy that expresses the animation, it also keeps consciousness immersed in an identity that appears to be separate from others.  As a result, we now believe ourselves to be this physical entity (which is just a grosser form of Shakti, i.e. a more solid vibration/expression) which keeps awareness more locked in and localized since it feels more material and of realness.  But if we shift our attention (our very awareness) to the inner aspects of ourselves (towards the more subtle aspects of shakti), we will be able to be more conscious of an inner vibration that is more fluid and non-local as it becomes more connected to other timelines that are superimposed on itself.  If we can tap into this aspect of ourselves, we can harness the power to shift attention to different timelines that align with that corresponding vibration we want to manifest (since everything is made up of vibration).  The vibration you align with will then express the grosser form of itself since these gross forms are governed by its own inner and subtler vibrations.

This means when we shift to a different timeline that we resonate with, it will automatically express/manifest the physical reality you want to experience without violating rules. This is essentially the law of attraction. The law of attraction is not about attracting or manifesting things out of thin air in your current timeline.  It means shifting to a timeline that contains the fulfilment of your desire since these realities already exist.  This is because you can't create something that already exists.  All potentials already exist in the eternal now which are simply waiting for your attention to bring them into life.

Everyone is shifting timelines through cause and effects, so shifting timelines is a natural occurrence in Maya.  However, most don't notice the shift since timelines become so closely connected, it is impossible to distinguish.  Timelines also don't interaction at a physical level, since they are interwoven at a much more subtler level (vibration) which is why you don't perceive other realities (simply because your vibration doesn't align to see them).  However, you can become conscious of shifting if you become aware of this much subtler reality.  The deeper you tap into, the more power you have to shift into a timeline that is perfect for your own inner growth. Some may practice thinking good thoughts, visualizing or saying affirmations (i.e. convincing yourself sincerely that you already have what you desire).  All of this will help you shift to a timeline since ultimately thoughts create reality.  Since the mind governs the physical body/realm, using the mind will nonetheless help transition your attention to a similar experience but slightly different depending on your intentions. But the power behind them may be small compared to the power one can harness if they tap into their inner vibrations consciously.  Those who meditate and can tap into the deeper and more subtler parts of their mind (like in yogic samadhi) will be able to make more profound shifts and noticeable ones too.  The deeper your meditation is, the more you will feel the actual vibration of prana that make up the energetic force of Shakti, which allows attention to shift easily. This is because where the mind goes, prana naturally follows (and vice versa).  So if you meditate deeply enough and become conscious of this energy vibrating inside, you can carry your attention with it to a higher vibrational timeline (through your inner intention of willing it to be).  This means you you will actually be conscious of that very reality you wish to experience and will intuitively know (depending on spiritual maturity) without harshly violating any laws such as Karma. Remember: The subtle body which transitions timelines is already operating right now as we speak.  This is why everyone is constantly shifting, though most are unconscious of this fact.

Since timelines can be indistinguishable as a result of vibration between them being only slightly different, most will not perceive the shift every time it happens. Nonetheless, you are always shifting and now most are under the delusion that they hold and identify with a single entity and believe that this identity consists of the same exact entity that is experienced their entire life.  In reality, you consist of many different inert versions that are extremely close in relation to each other that allows a linear experience to be perceived. The variance between them can become known if the vibration you align to is substantially different. In other words, if the vibration increases exponentially from one to the next, you can perceive the shift. In essence, you are just consciousness experiencing many different versions of your false self and the versions are so similar, you cannot perceive them - this is the illusion.

Many are ignorant of shifting timelines, while some are conscious of it.  But there are a very few who remain as their pure self without any attachment and ownership involved in the shifting. If one understands the mechanics behind the illusion of experience, it might just be weirdly dissatisfying enough for you to lose the sense of owning something that really isn't yours. If the body and mind is just an appearance (literally) and is the combination of inert snapshots of now moments (like a series of polaroid pictures), then why take it to be something real that you claim is yours? It is the force of Shakti or Maya that causes consciousness to witness the illusion of linearity through snapshots.  However, consciousness is always a static principle and is the changeless background upon which all experiences can be known. This means, there really isn't any shifting happening!  So while shifting timelines is something done by many spiritual aspirants, eventually one must transcend this illusion and attend back to their own natural pure self. Being free from shifting, means being free from the illusory snapshots of suffering
